Great how do you like your D700?? I have been vacillating between waiting another yr to get a D3 ( i was use to having a D1x and the F5 body controls are very similar for the D3 ) ..or get a D700 this yr I have all full frame lenses ..didnt get caught in the trap of buying lenses that would only work on an aps sized sensor...so I have lenses just need camera body what to do wait a yr for D3 or get D700 after tax time ?? How do you like yours ????

i like it. but since i do have mostly dx lenses now i have to buy new full frame ones. what a pain! i'm not a professional and just started photography a few months ago, so i really don't need such a fast, big, expensive camera like the d3. so i've got the d700 plus a nikkor 14-24 f2.8 for less than the d3. this photo was taken with an old lens that is actually broken and a poor fitting CP so there's a lot of noise, not to blame the d700 but the photographer! i believe the optics are about the same...but someone like =AndyMumford should know A LOT more than me :D...and thanks again.
